There are so many factors that you can plan throughout your wedding, however one of the major factors is one we cannot control: the weather. Luckily, you have Avery Wong Photography to assist with your wedding and make sure that no matter if there is rain, shine, or strong Bay-Area winds that you are covered for your big day! Our team comes prepared so all you need to worry about is making it down the aisle. Let’s break down how we support your vision, regardless of your wedding weather:

Wind Be Damned
In Northern California, it is often the case that you can get some strong wind gusts coming up on your big day. Sometimes, you do need to just capture the crazy weather and enjoy the memories of the weather, like we did in the above shot. Once you capture those memories, we can brush the hair and touch up, then capture some more of the picture perfect shots. We can sometimes use the wind to get some great hair and veil portraits, but we also know when to call it quits and move the show inside to get the best images.

It’s Like Rain On Your Wedding Day
Some call it ironic, but we call it romantic! When the rain does start to hit, we choose not to hide from it! Usually the skies light up in a beautiful cloudy display, the rain creates a sleek dew on everything in the shot, and it sets a really romantic setting for you and your partner. We check the radar and will know to prepare if we see showers as a possibility! We can capture the same amount of magic, regardless of the weather.

Picture Perfect
When the sun is out in full force, it can sometimes wash the couple out or you can see the squinting of the eyes from the brightness. Once again, we come prepared and ready to go! We manage the lighting on our end and make sure that you look picture perfect before we take the shots. We have several tricks up our sleeves to make sure there is zero squinting or wash out in your big day photos. Our first job is always to make sure the couple is happy and looks great, so we say let the sun shine and leave the rest to us!
